That's true. We had no communication with the area for awhile. We still have almost no communication. Phone lines are down in several places. But the thing is, we knew it was going to be very, very bad. It was basically either going to be catastrophic or earth-shattering. (I purposefully chose adjectives that are equally severe). We didn't know at first precisely how bad it would be or how bad it was right after it happened but we knew that lots of help would be needed immediately. There should have been military people ready to go in before it even struck the area.
