technically I think people who bash gay people are more scared than anything. They don't understand it...don't know anyone (or is CLOSE with anyone) that is gay...and so therefore just brush it off as.."oh...well..they are evil and should be punished" . And sadly enough, I would probably be that way too, but a very good friend of mine is gay...so I am able to be exposed to more than just the "kentucky hick straight and narrow" (no pun intended) that most people think we all are. I try to keep an open mind about a lot of things. There may be things I don't agree with, or things that bother me, but it's other people's business and as long as it doesnt effect(affect??*L* ) me....I don't give a rip. Btw..I AM Christian..*SHOCK* and yes...you are all going to hell!! *LOL* (juuuust kidding...please dont' send the bomb squad to my house!! )
