I loved Popular. It was probably my favorite show at the time when it was on. I was so disappointed it was cancelled after only 2 seasons while there is so much junk that is on year after year, especially teen shows. The writing was brilliant and the young actors were all very talented in their own right. It had serious elements and a perfect balance of comedy. I love when I see any of those actors on TV or in the movies. Sarah Rue seems to have come the longest way having her own show and doing that night of a thousand stevies movie and all.
It's hard to believe Tammy Lynne Michaels ended up marrying Melissa Ethridge! I never would have believed it if you told me that while she was on the show. They seem so happy though...good for them
