I was a teenager in the 70's most of my friends were into rock or country rock music and thought FM was very cool, especially when the "White Album" came out. Once Rumours went into the stratoshere commercially, the coolness went away. FM became way too commerical for many of them. Tusk on the other hand was considered "too weird" (Lindsey's stuff) for most people I knew.
