He was my favorite out of the three network anchors. He had a very soothing voice and made his job seem effortless, whereas Tom Brokaw sounded half-cocked on moonshine and seemed unable to find his ass with both hands (not to mention his dumbing-down of the news). I always got a kick out of people screaming about Jennings when it came to his views on the Palestinians. That always made for good laughs.
