But I didn't get any admonition - actually there was an objection ("Asked and answered") raised by the defense - but I WAS answering the question, just not the way the district attorney wanted. I was NOT going to speculate about hypothetical situations that never would have happen while I was an attorney there. The other ex-employees basically followed suit, which pissed off the district attorney because he wanted to use this info in his closing, for sure. |
Then he should have done his homework and found a witness who can testify without speculation - it is called direct evidence
Cool call on catching him and calling him on it - I would have too as that kind of crap drives me batty.
