I saw George McGovern speak at a Unitarian church about 9 years ago when he had wrtitten a book about his daughter Terry,an alcoholic that died of hypothermia in Madison Wisc. This man had such incredible prescence and I could feel the warmth and compassion radiating from him .It made me hang my head in shame that I live in a nation that elected a Nixon instead of him.I guess things have not really changed too much though have they?
