Hey Hillary,
Maybe you could download some anti-spyware or adware software to try to get rid of that. There's a program called AdAware that's supposed to go to town on adware/spyware. I downloaded it once for free. Just do a Google search for "spyware removal" or something, and some free, reputable downloads should pop up.
