I remember seeing Stevie in Albuquerque during the TISL tour - and it started raining when she came on stage - and kept raining - she was so cute and at one point was like, "well sometimes it just rains" and then when she played this song...oh man!!!
It was such an amazing experience - though I'm fairly certain that by the time I got up to the front of the stage I looked like a drowned rat...well a drowned rat with a rain-hair afro.

That reminds me of when I saw stevie in Denver at Fiddler's Green for the Enchanted tour. If I recall, Outside The Rain was the third song in the set....followed by Dreams of course. When she got to the first chorus...and she sang 'thunder only happens when it's raining'
it started to rain. The audience shrieked and screamed with excitement....it was almost like Stevie made it rain! A little bit later, Stevie spoke to the audience and said something that went like this: "If I could make it stop raining, I would. See, I really
don't have magic powers!" It was so cute, the way she said it.
