I feel your pain.  Honestly, I think the attachment to Thousand Days for some, including myself, is because we have been listening to demos of it since 1986. Although I don't really care for the version of it that Stevie finally recorded and released during the Street Angel era, there is still a sentimental connection to this song that I can't shake....same with Mirror Mirror. exactly... for me, "Thousand Days" is just one of those extremely quirky, but kinda catchy songs Stevie has done over the years... "One More Big Time Rock And Roll Star" is another example of one of those... i still can't get over how many people dislike "Mirror Mirror".. i could have sworn it was going to make the top 5 on this list... go figure
