Whenever I see the "cool" smilie (
), it looks as if that person were actually thinking, "No ****, you brainless moron." It makes me very defensive & argumentative. It doesn't register "cool" to me -- it registers extreme disdain & superiority.
So even the damn smilies aren't foolproof ways of conveying emotions. I still say LOCK & LOAD when I see those damn things.
