What angers me most about this is that it seems the popester just assumes that anyone reading these books is Catholic (or Christian). It's like he completely discounts all possibilities that there are other religions, legitimate religions, and beliefs in the world. Also, that children are too stupid to differentiate between fiction and fact.

I believe he has stated that he really doesn't think other religions are valid. I'm not fond of this Pope's beliefs. It is preposterous to believe that these books are going to confuse kids about their Christianity, if they are Christian. One has nothing to do with the other.
