Has anyone every heard a Stevie tune for the first time and not recognized her voice? I never have, but just wondering... I'm not nearly as familiar with her solo stuff as everyone else here is, so I am wondering if she ever changed her singing style dramatically on any song so much that it wouldn't be instantly recognizable as Stevie.

When I was a kid I never realized that she was singing backup on "Magnet and Steel," but I was convinced she was singing backup on Eric Clapton's "Lay Down Sally."
In 1983 I was really anxiously awaiting the release of "The Wild Heart," so I remembered catching the end of the Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams" on the radio and thinking that was the new song by Mama Nicks!

It's that part where Annie is just vamping, "Oh-oh, aah ah ah ah." Even now I think it's rather Nicksian.
