Now see here, you're all wrong. What really happened is that Buckingham never actually quit the band, he just up and died (maybe Stevie killed him?). So to cover it up, the band
said he quit and hired replacements. When that didn't work out as well as they'd hoped, they found a look alike (somewhat taller, longer of face, but who's gonna notice?) to impersonate him and it was actually the phoney that released OOTC.
You know, just like how Tom Petty died (slipped into a coma late 70s/ early 80s, then finally died in 1996) and its really an imposter we've been listening to all these years?
