Well, here's my theory: in order to be "cool", there has to be this "popular" group that you are
definitely not part of. Because that means you are "different" than the rest. But what to do when there isn't actually a "popular" group? Gasp! Does that mean perhaps you cannot be "cool"?!
I know of course that the word "cool" is extremely "uncool" ...
