Yeah, cool! I remember that game. I was at that game with my mom & dad. I just saw them do their halftime, but I wasn't sitting anywhere near them. I probably would have wanted to try to see them after the game, but my mom & dad wanted to go get ribs. You get the best ribs down there by the Coliseum.

I was like 14 years old....so I was very nervous. Stevie was sitting about 6 seats in from the aisle. Lindsay was sitting on the aisle...I asked Lindasy if I could get her autograph. In hindsite that was probably a real crappy thing to do to Lindsay. Anyway, I didn't have paper or pen. So I didn't succeed in getting it. But I did meet her. She was very beautiful in real life. I was so nervous...I think I just froze up.
There are some pics & video online of that day at the USC game with Stevie, Lindsey & Mick.

The second time I met her was at the San Diego Sports Arena where she performed with Tom Petty...I believe it was the Pack up The Plantation tour or something like that.
Oh, dear. I went to Petty's show at the Forum on that tour not only wanting to see the Heartbreakers, of course, but hoping Stevie Nicks would show up. No show. Don't tell me she showed up in San Diego. . . please don't say that now.

Back when I was young & stupid, my friend Toni roomed with the lighting supervisor on several Mac & solo tours, so we generally were allowed to hang around off to the sides & then trip around backstage after. I saw Stevie a bunch of times but never said anything more than "hello" or "great show" to her (in those days, the shows actually were great). I remember at one show she was somewhat avoiding visitors/guests & just hanging out with crew or band children, putting strings of beads on them & putting little rings on their pudgy little fingers. Christine was almost never around after a show. She didn't like fans. Who can blame her? They're spooooky.

John McVie was at the slalom & ski jump event at the Lake Placid Olympics, & was very chatty (for John) with the few people who recognized him & approached him.
