It has been a really surreal day. It's horrible to think if I had caught my normal train I would have been on the underground when the explosions occurred. I go past Moorgate and Kings Cross everyday on the tube. It's upsetting to think that all those people killed were just setting out to work, like me, thinking it was just an ordinary day and now their families will never see them again. I feel incredibly lucky, but even to be in the area where it was all happening was frightening.
Anyway, thanks again for thinking of me. I just wanted to check in when Neil said you were all worried. I'm off to bed now. It has been a long day.
