I am not a big fan of rap, but I do love Rappers Delight.
In fact, I "rapped" a verse of it for my daughter this weekend, and she said "can you do that again?!?!" I also like some of Salt 'n Pepa's stuff, "Let's talk about sex," for example.
I hate sitting at a red light in my car, with the windows up, and having someone in the next lane with the loud thumping bass and actually being able to hear the "lyrics." At least with the "older" rap you could understand most of the words. As much as I hate Britney Spears, I'd rather have my daughter like her music instead of rap.
