Two completely different kinds of performers, for one. Bonnie is as laid back and chill as they come, Stevie is there to put on a theatrical show. To hear the likes of
Give It Up or Let Me Go followed by
Gold Dust Woman would make me gag. And I cannot,
CANNOT picture the amazing slide guitar player that Bonnie Raitt is sharing the stage and musical duties with someone like Carlos Rios or one of Stevie's other hired hands.
It would be a mess and I would weep for Bonnie.
