Also, Destiny Rules. The whole song sounds like an apology to me.
"When I see you again, it appears to me that destiny rules. That the spirits are ruthless with the paths they choose." And it ends with "They're just following the rules", meaning the spirits. I think that was her way of saying it wasn't meant to be (the spirits are ruthless) and her apology to him when she lets him know that she wonders where he is and how he feels. She wanted him to know that she cared, but that destiny is what rules and their destiny wasn't to be together.
I can go back further into her solo material, but those two come to mind right now.

On a different but related note: what is "Smile At You about?" This whole business of "go on save yourself/leave the key here/you love someone else/I shouldn't be here"---who is she talking to/about? This song was written around the time of Rumours right? Then, if that's true, it couldn't be about Lindsey could it? She broke up with him, unless this was about a brief interlude when they were "on again." I've often wondered...
