I don't know how they keep the "stats" in the UK, but the US has a web site that you can go on to see how "popular" a certain name is, how many people were named that in any given year. WAAAY back in 1980 when I named my daughter Rhiannon, there were 62 others also given that name. By 2005 when my granddaughter was blessed with the name, there were 463 people named Rhiannon in that year. Awesome, huh?
