Do you play an instrument? If so, what kind(s) and for how long?I took violin lessons in elementary school but retained nothing from them. One of the things I regret is that I wasn't disciplined enough to start learning something at an early age.
Can you sing? What is your octave range and voice type (i.e. tenor, alto, etc.)?Yes, and I have about a four octave range. I'm a soprano.
Do you write songs? Just music? Only lyrics?I've written a few that were horrible.
Have you ever dreamt of or seriously considered being a musician?So many times that I can't count them. I was once all-consumed with it. I was even going to major in music in college and learn how to play the piano pretty late in the game. Then I settled for studying to be a history teacher on the college level, which I think might actually be better suited to me. I always think I want to be a famous singer but in reality it seems that I much prefer to sing alone in my room most of the time.
What genre of music would you prefer to create?I would do alternative country if I were a famous singer. It would be kind of country, kind of folk, kind of rock in some places.
