You know, the time when they needed each other to make money and possibly further their career.

I think I said I agree her career and his were both in decline - nice try at the spin though
My point is, she was still getting out there and she was trying to come back. He was to my knowledge doing nothing of the sort and still working on a solo record that it took HER to come back to FM to get release like seven years later
But, back to the point at hand, the response she got at those "free" concerts was big and that she was even asked to do a movie song, which she had, in case you forgot, been doing since like 1980
- was indicative that she still had some popularity left. He had nothing approaching that and he was not really doing anything to get it. That is all I am saying.
And - probably more people saw her in two weeks of her SA tour than all of his OOTC tour
Thus, my point, which is even in her decline, she was still a larger star. And - let's compare album sales from that era shall we
