That's really interesting (and kind of sad). What is it that you so vehemently dislike about country music? Is it a problem with the lyrical conventions or the musical ones, or both?

I've always loved "That's Alright," even before I had any interest in country music. It's so wistfully poignant. And John's bassline is just great.
