No, you didn't dream that.
I believe I had posted that awhile back. Platinum for DVDs are 100,000 units. And since they've only sold 50,000 some units & there are 2 discs, that would explain why it's certified platinum. At least that's how they handle CDs. I don't know why DVDs would be any different.
