Are you planning to rent a car? or just going to stay on the strip? Many off strip places are cheap and nice. But, if you are palnning to stay on the strip and looking for no-frills, most of the casinos have midweek specials. The expensive ones are Bellagio, Manadlay Bay, MGM, Paris, Palms and Ceasers....The rest should be comparable. I would try Circus-Circus and Excaliber for deals. The rest I am not familar with as far as how the rooms are. Luxor might be a bit more, but also might have deals also. Vineatian has all suites, so good for sharing if a few are going.
I think others staying here might be able to say what deals they found so far. Sorry not much help, but I haven't stayed at many of the strip hotels myself.
