I was gullible about lots of stuff....Marty was more cynical; he didn't even believe it was really John that wrote us in '95 until we actually met him in '97 LOL. Marty was all "ask him this, ask him that, see if he knows about this yada yada!" ....and it was then that i knew
I needed to handle all correspondence w/ the poor man LOL. I remember my initial response to him was rather suspicious, like "I don't know if we should assume you are actually Fleetwood Mac's John McVie, but we
will assume you're a fan..' blah blah, and I gave him more info about the site. And so he then wrote back in his dry way, "This really is McVie!" and for some reason that's when I really believed it. I still shake my head in amazement even now. Can't even describe the sensation of absorbing that the people in FM might actually
look at our site....
