When I went to see the Mac at the MGM in July of 2003 the guard wanded my bag and it went off but all he did was ask me " if I had any weapons on me"

Of course I said "no not today". I had my old 35mm camera which was larger then my digital but he did not even look in my bag. When I went to my seat there was a guard right in front of me but he was very nice and told us "please no cameras" I never took it out.
The weird thing is that almost every show that I went to {since I bought my tiny digital} security did not even look in bag. If you don't use a flash you are less likely to be noticed and most of the time they won't even bother you if you don't use a flash. If you have a digital you won't really need one for concert pics anyway.
Ironically, I will be leaving for my new photography class in about 45 minutes.
