Peter?...yeah, somewhat, I guess...but, those times WERE when he made his first comeback with a string of albums (
In The Skies, Little Dreamer, etc) before going off the deep end again. He WAS hanging around with Mick & Fleetwood Mac for a while during the recording of
Tusk (hence his appearance on "Brown Eyes"). And, don't forget that Mick negotiated a contract with WB/Reprise for Peter at that time, although Peter balked at it and not to much later signed with PVK.
Jeremy? I'm not so sure about his being "in a bad place" then. He seemed and seems VERY comfortable with his "Children Of God"-ness. He's never been in an insane asylum or been "committed" or had any mental health issues. He hasn't ever really STOPPED playing music or had to re-learn how to play guitar or anything. Unfortunately, he's perceived to have mental issues due to his spur-of-the-moment disappearance leading to his departure from Fleetwood Mac. In retrospect, it appears that his "bad place" was being IN Fleetwood Mac to begin with.
