I have no intention of ever having children, but...

I love the name Sara, not just because it's one of my favorite songs but also because it's a family name. (Except my family spells it Sarah). I've always been fond of my middle name, Clare, though it seems narcissisitic to name a child after myself. I'm a big fan of Laurana. I think people would find it strange, though. I'm also big on Margaret and one of its shortened forms, Margot, though I don't think many others like that name.

For a guy, sadly, I've always liked the named Nicodemus, though I would never wish it upon someone. I don't like it for the Biblical reference (of course not! ), but for the character in Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh. Also, I like Tanis, which is also borrowed from literature, the Dragonlance series, though I know some don't consider that the best literature.

And when I was a kid, I liked Narcacia and Electra for a girl, which was very unfortunate.
