Well, I can understand that, but if I were any of them, I would've taken the time to buy those records and listen to them at some point. I think it's of importance to anyone who was once in the band. At the time of Rumours heyday, Peter and Jeremy may not have been in the position to be kicking back to "Gold Dust Woman," but they could've caught up later on. It's been quite a few years. 
I had thought about Stevie listening to all the older Mac albums when she and Lindsey were offered jobs with the band, but it occurred to me that she might have listened just for that purpose and then never picked them up again. I've done things like that when I had to educate myself on something quickly but I didn't genuinely care about it for any other purposes. But I could be totally wrong; it's just an idea about what may have happened.
