Don't know what to make of Molly Shannon, but she was in that stupid show with Schwartzman, so maybe that's how she nabbed the role.

My thoughts exactly. You know she'll make this turn out into a beautiful film (at the very least, artistically). I'm wondering what the angle is going to be--picking out elements from her entire life up until her death? Just their relationship?
