She was supposed to be warm and sympathetic in ghost, and I thought she did okay with that. And I think in The Butchers wife she was supposed to be warm. In a few good men, she was ok. Honestly, I think she is more compelling in the 'bitchy/sexy' roles, myself. And, in Striptease, she was supposed to be sympathetic, just as a stripper.
I believe she is actually pretty calculating in real life, though, If not cold - I really couldn't say. But she did pick some crappy, crappy movies. And she should never, ever, try to be comedic. EVER!!!!
