Well, I have snake ISSUES! My Mom always said it was her fault, that I learned to be terrified through her. I mow 4 of my 5 acres, so I see several every year. Although, 2004 was the YEAR OF NO SNAKES!!! I usually see 5-6 a year, and I saw NONE last year! I can't TELL you how happy that makes me. Maybe the word is out in the snake community, that this David guy mows with a handgun, so stay the hell out of his yard.

When we lost our dachshound, my Mom and I were bawling like babys, on our deck(she had a heart attack, and died in front of us). I remember, in between sobs, us hoping the neighbors weren't home, to hear us.
I know that they are worth the heartbreak of losing them. I met two women yesterday at U of IL, both of whom had pugs with terminal cancer, just hoping to buy a few more months with them. One of the ladies and I cried when we started talking about her baby.
