Good to me too. All they have over there are Dutch and Asian restaurants so this would be an excellent diversion. I <3 Amsterdam. Dutch food is so boring, although they do have fabulous breads. Also, for breakfast they eat jam and croissants with cheese and bread, that was yummy. They could use a Tex Mex to mix it up!
I'm not into the coffee shop thing but I love that they are there. The open mindedness is great and I found the people to be nice. Most of them speak English. I was lost one day and asked a video store clerk for directions. I could not distinguish the street names she was saying cuz they are all "thisstracht" and "thatstracht" so the clerk drew me a map! That was so sweet.
