Unfortunately there's always going to be some glaring omissions on these lists, and some really bewildering inclusions (Robbie Williams?? Scissor Sisters??).

But I defend Like A Prayer's right to remain on the list!

For me, I think the greatest albums are ones that have an emotional resonance and strike a chord that we can all relate to on one level or another.

Some pop albums are simply popular because they somehow manage to be deemed "hip" by the masses... but ultimately they have no staying power. But other pop albums, such as Like A Prayer, have character, depth and soul, and are deserving of being singled out amongst the "greatest albums of all time."
At least that's my opinion.
