Not sure they're all pop, but I find them very romantic:
All is full of love - Bjork
This Love- Cocteau Twins
A case of You- Joni Mitchell
Friday I'm In love - The Cure
Time after Time - Cyndi Lauper
Nothing Compares to You - Prince (sung by Sinead O'Connor)
There is a light and it never goes out - The Smiths
Losing My Mind - Stephen Sondheim (sung by Ute Lemper)
Alison - Everything But The Girl
Spoon - Dave Matthews Band/Alanis Morissette
Romy
