"Monitors"? What are "monitors"?
It wouldn't matter if they HAD them back then, 90% of the time, they weren't loud enough to hear over the stacks of amps anyway...and if the sound engineer turned up the monitor system, it would feedback like a m*****f**ker...just rip yo' head right off.
