I have always said RR and to a greater extent RG were moderates, esp. compared to the fundamentalist religious right that controls the R party these days. I mean RG lived with two partnered gay guys while his estranged wife lived in the Gov. Mansion and while he was carrying on with his mistress. That is hardly the model for the current moral obsessed R party
The R party today wants a free for all when it comes to carrying and buying guns
They think any legal control is an unontitutional intrusion
