yes, people would love to be singers...and i don't think it's way down deep inside. Heck, I sing, and i feel a twinge whenever someone loves my friend's songs!
(she is AFA, has THE VOICE, and writes songs with good lyrics, too!)
But, also, I think that most people do not know otherwise, depending on what they've been raised with...I think they think a lot of music is good that you or I may not think is good.
