I don't know about anyone else here, but I'm certainly not asking you or anyone else to abandon their beliefs.
In fact, what I'm asking doesn't involve the abandonment of beliefs at all... it merely involves looking a little deeper into your religion, and seeing that some of the ideas regarding homosexuality that are professed, are as antiquated as slavery and the subjugation of women.
