Only our microfilm/fiche machine was OLD, and all the pages came out basically black. The funniest was the Rolling Stone concert review, "Fleetwood Mac Clicks Despite Nicks" that had the picture of her in the macrame/feather headdress (from TWH & RAL promo posters). The page was so dark, I couldn't tell what the f*ck was on her head -- it looked like a bunch of snakes, or like she had been rolling around in a pile of sticks.  |
count me in too....i used to look everything up in the "reader's guide to periodical literature".....remember that???? and then i'd copy the info out of there onto a slip of paper and hand it to the "periodicals clerk." anyway, i got pretty lucky and found a bunch of articles, including the "fleetwood clicks despite nicks"..i recall the reviewer thought the only song she cared about that night was a new one, "sisters of the moon." believe it or not, i even remember finding a blurb about the "rosebud" film. i don't remember anything about that except the running time was about 45 minutes, which sounds about right. i should have copied this stuff back then.
i also recall an article from 1977 where it reported one of stevie's prized shalls at the time had been stolen. It was one she wore during "landslide."
can't remember whether there was a picture with that article.
yes, some of us were big dork microfilm sluts back then. i did most of my research in the early 80's when i really became a fan.
