First of all, every video I have of Lindsey playing Peacekeeper shows him capoed on the 2nd fret. Also, during his solo, he plays top string 12th fret (not relative to capo), which in standard tuning would be an E, but when he plays it I hear an F.
Beautiful Child is in the sounding key of B major. On one clip I have, I see him playing a standard A minor chord shape when I hear him playing a G# minor, and a C chord shape for B.
As for Eyes of the World, I see him playing A, D, and E chords for Ab, Db, and Eb. In fact, I have a video of him playing it on Nov. 29 at Earls Court which I will attach, in which you can clearly see that he has his guitar tuned down a half step.
I know which article you're talking about for Say Goodbye, but it turns out that he misphrased what he was saying. He said he tuned the G down a step, but he didn't specifically mention that it was from Open G. You probably just assumed it was from standard tuning. Also, this open G7 tuning is tuned down a half-step for the live version. Yes I have tried playing it in that tuning, and it works. Here are the chords I use:
Am7 (Abm7): x2221x
D7 (Db7): 0x421x
GMaj7 (GbMaj7): x0420x
G6 (Gb6): x0220x
As for Red Rover, it's just a guess. I haven't seen any video footage of it, but I have been told that there is no capo. It works for me, so I put it.
The tuning for World Turning is incorrect. I screwed up when I was typing it and didn't notice. It should actually be C#-
G#-C#-F#-A#-
D#, which is Drop D tuned down a half-step. I would've put it in terms of Db but that would have contradicted with the key signature of C# minor (there is no such thing as the key of Db minor in music theory). The song is basically the same as earlier versions, except a half-step lower, and instead of the main riff going 1-e-and-a 2-e-and-a 3-e-and-a 4-e-and-a, it just goes 1-and 2-and 3-and 4-e-and. In other words, he doesn't play the 2nd string 3rd fret on every upbeat of the 8th note. I just noticed I put the tuning wrong.
I knew the Strat was for Tusk, I put it under GYOW and didn't notice. I made too many mistakes, so I'm gonna post a revised copy.
By the way, I am NOT, I repeat, NOT Lindsey. But I know a lot about his technique and am happy to help any guitarist.
