If I enjoy something, that's all the satisfaction and validation I need.
As I've said before, I honestly don't care if someone else loves a song/album or hates it... all that matters to me is whether
I love it, because I'm the only person who needs to be pleased when I listen to it.
I might scratch my head in bewilderment that someone else can't see the beauty in it that I see, but their opinion of it doesn't affect mine in the slightest.
