And I flirted with both Amber and Krista last night (okay, we'll just have to embellish a bit and pretend that what I do can actually be considered flirting) but neither one of them appeared to be remotely offended, and both are heterosexual.

And I won't rack my brains trying to determine the gender and sexual orientation of the person I'm talking to on here. It's always nice to know, but I wouldn't force it out of anyone because I don't see how it's necessary to know. I had a little crush on someone from another message board last summer but I didn't even know the person's gender. I found out a month later that it was a guy. I found it amusing that it had been a guy and I'm a lesbian, but I wasn't repulsed. Even though I would only date girls, it was kind of an eye-opener to me--an indication that it's the person that matters the most, not the gender.

And I'm not angry with you, 1/2 insane. I don't want you to think that. I just really want to get my feelings out and be heard. This subject matter hits oh so close to home.
