Okay...My vote went to the Fleetwood Mac concerts this year (specifically san Jose
). I remember when I bought my first FM album thinking, "Oh no...I'm going to live my life without seeing them perform!" Luckily, I was treated to highlights such as "Sara," "Beautiful Child," "Gold Dust Woman," "I'm So Afraid," "Stand Back," "Say Goodbye" and "Go Your Own Way."
The Rumours reissue came with the heavenly alternate mix of "Oh Daddy," which has quickly become one of my favorite songs ever.
Buckingham Nicks live tracks were a real treat, esp. "Rhiannon" and "Sorcerer."
In The Meantime is a wonderful pop album...
Lastly, anything new from the Kirwan/Welch/McVie songwriting lineup is reason to rejoice.
What can I say, we're in the middle of a Fleetwood Mac renaissance!
