Yep, Brian and Lis's stories parallel mine.
I remember riding on a 1000 mile trip, to visit family, when Rhiannon was at it's peak. I loved it. As a matter of fact, we went and bought the 45, and gave it to my older cousin who lived there.........and never thought any more about FM(hey, I was little). As fate would have it, about three years later, my cousin was having great difficulty getting along with her step-father, so she moved to IN to finish high school living with us. Well, along came her collection of 8 tracks

. Well, Rumours was one of them...I became OBSESSED! I spent hours on end in my bedroom, playing every vocal line on trumpet(bet Mom loved that!) I eventually pulled a guitar from the closet, that I'd given up on learning a couple years earlier, and bought the Rumours chord book, and taught myself to play. Obsessed doesn't begin to describe how much I loved FM. Three 8 tracks, 2 cassettes, an album(all completely WORN OUT), and finally a CD, before I was satiated. Rumours literally changed my life, completely.....
btw, the Rhiannon 45 came back to me. I still have it.
