Nah. I have to say I prefer it the way she sang it, even if the metaphor is backwards.
'Sides, Alanis Morrisette wrote an entire song about irony and never once mentioned anything that was legitimately ironic. Yet, the song was still quite popular! (Ok, now maybe THAT'S ironic. )
