I think the vocals are just perfect in the studio version of "Sara", so it's like the live versions can never be good enough for me. I especially don't like the most recent live versions as much as the studio version. But now I've got a "Sara" question. Is the one on the Green Album different from the one on Tusk? (The regular version). Something sounds different to me, granted it has been awhile since I broke out the Green Album. Now that I have so many of the others it seems unnecessary. Anyway, whatever the case, "Sara" is still my favorite FM song. Period.

And diss--the chipmunk simile...that was great.

I may be completely off b/c I don't have either the original tusk or the green greatest hits but isn't the version of Sara included on the original Tusk CD the edited version? This was done to allow all of it to fit on one CD? The green album would have the full version. I don't know if that's what you're talking about or not. Also, I would think the track would have sounded a little better because of it being remastered for the greatest hits album if that was the case.
