Those 'tards need to get a life
You shouldn't be judged by anything you wear, color (or colour), style, fabric, etc. It's stupid, like Amber said, it's the type of thing you'd hear in elementary/high school. Obviously, those people are insecure and probably look like sh*t in pink...they're just jealous. 
I've been made fun of for lots of reasons, especially when I wore NKOTB shirts or jewelry back in junior high/high school. I was also made fun of for wearing socks that said Adidas on them.  Yeah, some people are stoopid. LOL
